Sunday Stash – my favourites

Believe it or not, I don’t have a bunch of new fabric to share today. Shocking, I know. Don’t worry, I’ll remedy that soon, especially as Collage has just been released.

So for guest-hosting Sunday Stash today, I thought I’d share my favourite part of my stash. Fabrics I use in pretty much everything I make. Fabrics that need to be added to pretty much every fabric order I make so that I never run out of them.

Fabrics that are Sketch and Color Weave.

Sketch and Color Weave

Sketch is by Timeless Treasures. It comes in really bright colours and the cross hatch (right word?!) marks are more obvious than Colour Weave. I have a bit of a collection.

Sketch Brights

Which I recently added to with a variety of browns for when I piece my LEGO Star Wars Chewbacca block.

Sketch

Color Weave by P&B Textiles are a bit more muted in colour, and the lines aren’t quite so defined. Still pretty though.

Color Weave

I particularly love these fabrics for paper piecing. They add a really nice texture and dimension to blocks. Plus! No need to worry about directional prints, nor fussy cutting. Bonus!

I love these so much so, that I am using mostly Color Weave and Sketch prints in my LEGO Star Wars quilt. They make especially good hair prints ;)

I tend to buy my Sketch and Color Weave from Fabric Shack. No affiliation – I just like their half price international shipping. Not always a huge range available but definitely a nice selection to pick from.

So that’s me for this week! How about you? What’s happening in your stash this week? Share your Sunday Stash link with us all to admire!

And for the curious – last week’s most clicked Sunday Stash post was Linda’s from Sew Happily Ever After – sharing a pic of her stash!

Your turn!

  4. I like those too. I found some local look alike. Not as pretty but still pretty good. Anyway no addition to my stash. I'm just trying to use up what I got.

  7. Yesterday is the first time in 2 months that I bought any fabric ~ I had to get something for the back of a picnic quilt I'm making my son and dil. Everything I've made lately is with what I've got and it feels good to do that!
