I am however halfway through the blocks. That does make me happy. I have 11/16 people blocks done and 5/16 lightsabers done. I need to work a bit more on those lightsabers and get that number up. I hate making the same block over and over so I think that’s where I’m struggling a bit. But I’ll get there. I know I can. I know I can.
I don’t know why that pic went blurry. Sorry. Too tired to go take another one!
While having a Game of Thrones marathon (finally started watching it so I could see what all the fuss was about!) I managed to get four new blocks added to the list.
The most difficult of all the LEGO Star Wars blocks – Ahsoka Tano.
I won’t lie. There was
Yoda himself. Faceless he is. Faceless he may stay. Yoda face is hard.
Previously unmentioned, this block is Padme Amidala. The cool fighter Padme, not the weird get-up Senator Padme (could you imagine piecing that?!). See what my Star Wars kid is doing to me?! I didn’t even know there was more than one version of Padme til my J came along with his obsession.
And Han Solo. I’m not sure I got his hair colour right. I wanted a different brown to Padme and Leia. Interesting fact I learnt from my friend Jane – the LEGO Han Solo minifigure has his own unique hair colour. Perhaps that’s where the pressure came from to make his hair right!
Padme and Han Solo patterns are in my Craftsy shop for free – I am gradually adding the patterns as they get tested. Expect some more to be added soon.
So there you have it. 16 blocks. Halfway there. I can do this. I still have 7 weeks to go before the big birthday!
