January Round Up

Okay so I may be a day or two late as it's now the 3rd February here but I just came across the Fresh Sewing Day/Small Blog Meetup link party. What a great idea to do a quick round up of what you've been up to for the past month. So I'm having a go at linking up with Lily's Quilts!

Though to be honest, I thought I had been far more productive than this... I didn't add in the gazillion sleep masks I made for the Quiet Play shop though, or the February blocks I made for the Craftsy BoM or the QCA bee because technically they belong to February right?

Anyways, on with the show!

Know what surprises me most about this little collection? Half of the things I made - are for me! Normally I'm busy making things and popping them into the QP shop or as gifts, but I've been a bit selfish this month and made myself a wallhanging, table runner, nappy bag...  and those Craftsy blocks? They're going to be a picnic rug for me! Hmm I don't mind this selfish gig at all!

And something else that I'm working on... a few little blocks that look like this:
Inspired by this block pattern at Quilter's Cache and this change in the colour scheme by Little Miss Shabby,

I'm thinking this would be a fabulous block for my Bee month in April - lots of triangles but lots of fun.

I'm making some more using a charm pack of Good Fortune. Ooh it's so delicious - I'm keen to get stuck into it! See what I can manage around two kidlets, mountains of washing and swimming lessons! Here's hoping for a bit of creative time today - for both you and me! :)
