Okay I decided to jump on board with the Fugly Fabric Party. My fabric's not really fugly but it is deserving of a good home!
See I've had this little charm pack of Farm Fresh by Riley Blake floating around my stash for awhile.
Every now and then I look at it, then I put it back. Then it mysteriously migrated to my kitchen bench (maybe not so mysteriously - I have two suspicious looking children when it comes to fabric movements). Each day I look at it and feel guilty for not doing anything with it. It's not that it's not pretty, or fun fabric. It's just uninspiring to me. So I'm hoping to pass it along to someone else who might be inspired by those cute little animals and fruits and spots and stripes.
Thanks to the afore mentioned children, it no longer has its nice tidy paper wrap or cardboard backing, though the fabric is still clean and unwrinkled (a miracle, I know!). To make up for the lack of cute Riley Blake packaging, I did at least line up the squares nice and tidy and tie them with a pretty red ribbon!
There are 22 5" squares in this pack. I think there may have been 23 originally? So possibly one may have disappeared into the world of lost items, never to be seen again (i.e. likely my son's toy recycling truck that apparently needs to be kept full at all times). But still, there are enough there to do something fun with, surely!
So if you'd like to make my guilty fabric conscience feel better and give this charm pack a nice new home, just leave me a comment! If you want an extra entry, I certainly wouldn't object if you clicked that "Follow" button and left me a comment saying so! ;)
Entries close 14th Feb 8pm AEST and I'll pick the winner using our favourite random.org site and contact via email. Please make sure you're not a no-reply blogger!
Off to see some of the other fugly (and not so fugly) fabric floating around the interwebs! :)
