Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Vol. 10

.: Giveaway now closed! Thanks everyone! :.

Hello quilty types! It’s my day for the Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Blog Hop! And it’s a biggie. This is the tenth edition of the 100 blocks magazine – I’m not great on maths but pretty sure that makes like 1000 awesome blocks over the past few years. And I have contributed 3 of those!  Yay!

So my most recent contribution is of course… paper pieced! I decided to go with a little cottage this time. It’s perfect for a little bit of fussy cutting! You know I can’t resist fussy cutting!

Quiltmaker 100 Blocks Volume 10 Little Cottage by Kristy Lea

The block is #923 and is called “Little Cottage”. Can’t beat that for an original title hey? Afraid my creativity goes into the patterns and fabric choices and there’s not much leftover when it comes to naming my patterns ;) If you're a paper piecing fanatic like me, I have a bunch of other patterns - both free and for purchase. Pop over and have a look at my Craftsy shop!

QMMS-140050-cover_200

There are some amazing blocks in this edition – you won’t want to miss it. Oh but hey, how about a giveaway? The fabulous folks at Quiltmaker are offering a copy of Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks vol. 10 for each stop on the blog hop. So enter my giveaway then go enter all the other ones! Or just pop by your local newsagent and pick up a copy if you’re a little impatient (I get that!). Oh and did you know you can get a digital version? Cool right? Nothing like being able to shop in your pyjamas! Or maybe that’s just me.

Erm so how to enter the giveaway? Easy! Just leave me a comment. Any comment will do but if you need a suggestion, I always like ideas for new block designs.

What would you like to see paper pieced style?

Leave a comment before 23rd November to enter. Good luck and happy blog hopping!
