Paper Piecing Party - Help me Obi-wan Kenobi

You’re my only hope. To get this quilt done. I must use the force.

Or at least kick my sewjo into action. I have done one more character and a few more light sabers. Didn’t take pics of the light sabers, same old same old. But I am halfway through making them.

Here’s the newest character addition – Obi-wan Kenobi. The young version.

Paper pieced LEGO Obi-wan Kenobi

Fiona from Finding Fifth made her version as a Ben-Kenobi – a distinguished older version.

Old Ben Kenobi1

I am getting there – slowly but surely. Must keep on paper piecing.

How about you? How’s your paper piecing looking this week? Why not link up and share!

Quick refresher on what the deal is with the Paper Piecing Party (full details here):
* It’s on every weekend here at Quiet Play, starting Friday.
* Link up something you’re working on that’s foundation paper pieced
* Link a blog post or flickr photo
* Visit at least two other links and leave a comment because that’s half the fun!
* I’ll pick one each week to win their choice of a free pattern from my Craftsy shop. Keep on paper piecing ;) Last week’s winner was Sandy!

  1. Awesome! The force is strong in you... and i'm also sending my force to help you get through!
And also wondering if you're sick of hearing all the star wars quotes over the last couple weeks!!
You are one amazing mom for not only coming up with this idea, but designing it and seeing it through! I can't wait to see this all finished up!!

  2. You are definitely candidate for mother of the year with all those Star Wars blocks! No paper piecing for me this week though, I sandwiched a quilt and have spent my time chopping up fabric for the Star Surround Quiltalong. I've never cut all my fabric at once before I started a quilt. It takes forever!

  4. I just love seeing what you keep coming up with! I am a Star Wars Xbox fan. I enjoy playing that with my kids. But I have not done any paper piecing yet. Your Star Wars series and your party do tempt me into starting up!
