Sunday Stash

I’ve got a new favourite designer. Kate and Birdie. Apparently they’ve been around for awhile making papercrafts, but have now ventured into fabric. (Yippee!).

So when I saw the new line out – Bluebird Park – there was no resisting a little charm pack jumping into the shopping cart (okay there was much some deliberation – layer cake? Budget says no. Charm pack? Budget says sigh if you have must).

And I was not disappointed when it arrived.

I don’t know what the deal is. Just like the first line (Winter’s Lane – revealing my project from that tomorrow!), the colours are definitely not my typical style. But I just adore them all together!
Or it could be something about the incredibly cute designs. Hello hedgies!

Hedgies

Oh and birds. I do adore birds.

Or maybe it’s that a lot of the backgrounds are a Sketchy type print. And you know I just love me some Sketch.

I don’t even mind the orangesque (no idea what the actual name is) colour that’s slipped into this collection.

I’ll be honest. I have no idea (as yet) of what I’m going to make with this. But for now I’m just going to admire it all its prettiness. You can see a bit more of the line over here.

Linking up with Sunday Stash which is over at Alison’s place this week.

  1. That hedgie print is adorable! I can see why you had Pickford pick some up. I can't wait to see what you make with it.

  4. I love hedges!! Are there any pp hedgies out there? Maybe you can make a big floor cushion for J? Looks like maybe it has boyish colors.
