So now he’s been invited to Asha’s birthday party (along with the rest of the class – brave mum hosting that many Kindy kids!). I decided that a little personalised bag might be just the ticket for a birthday gift.
I know with more unusual names, it can be hard to find personalised things (I struggled as a Kristy in the 80’s – despite going to school with at least 4 other Kristy’s!!). So I decided to paper piece her name using my alphabet patterns – Just My Type.
A bit of sketch in dark pink and turquoise, paired with some dark pink solid – and voila! A bag is made!
Some crazy squirrels inside the bag for a bit of fun!
And some tulips on the back to complete it.
Sorry for the poor photos – the weather is miserable here! Crazy wind and constant rain – so outside pictures are not happening. Hoping the weather clears for the party tomorrow or that might not be happening either!
Ah well – even if it is postponed, at least I'm prepared. I even have a My Little Pony to pop inside the bag and we’re good to go!
And that’s my most recent (and only) finish this week! A small one but one I’m glad is done!
Linking up with TGIFF which is at Gingersnaps Quilts this week!
