Here’s a little refresher on the awesome projects that were shared by the blog hoppers this week:
Playmat by Finding Fifth Cushion by The Peony Teacup Snack bag by Plum and June Messenger bag by The Littlest Thistle Lavender sachet by Jaffa Quilts Art folder by TartanKiwi |
And here’s the schedule for our last two stops – then pop back here to Quiet Play for the linky party
Mon 27th Fiona from Celtic Thistle Stitches – a little birdie told me Fiona’s having a birthday over the weekend so make sure to leave birthday wishes when you stop by!
Tues 28th Anorina from Samelia’s Mum
Right so that’s the paper piecing, now some fabric talk! It’s Sunday which means it’s Sunday Stash time at Finding Fifth!
I ordered a fabulous parcel of goodies from Sew Lux Fabric a few weeks back but haven’t yet had a chance to share what I got. So ready?!
First – I had to show you. Look how gorgeously wrapped my package was! It was like having a birthday! And everything inside was wrapped in plastic envelopes and labelled. Labelled, my friends. That is super helpful for forgetful people like me who order things and then can’t remember what line of fabric they are from.
Here’s my bundle of goodies!
Birdie fabrics:
Rainbow Dots (I LOVE these),
some varied FQs – chevrons and Half Moon Modern and charm packs. Did I mention I love charm packs? Oh and an awesome little mini kit that came as a freebie! I’ve never had a mini quilt kit before – bit excited, let me tell you!
Oh and did you know that if you join in the PPP blog hop linky party next week, you’ll have a chance to win a gift voucher to Sew Lux Fabrics? Oh yes – you could have some of these fabulous fabrics yourself.
And in case you haven’t noticed this little image appearing around blogland…
there are some fab giveaways going on! You can find mine here.
Whew! I think that’s enough excitement for one Sunday. Hope yours is filled with paper piecing, fabric joy and giveaways too! Or at least some sewing. ;)
Now I've got a serious case of dot envy. I love dots but don't have any of those Essential Dots. I especially love that tissue paper, it reminds of Baskin Robbins (Ice Cream chain) colors back in the 70s, plus, it's dotty!
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome goodies!! Do wonky log cabins count? They are on paper....not made them into anything yet mind you...how many days do I have? =D
ReplyDeleteSo beautifully wrapped!! I love a well-wrapped purchase like that. And here in Japan everything gets wrapped and packed so neatly! I already hated having careless checkout people at the supermarket in Australia, I'm going to be seriously spoiled by the service here when we get back, lol!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty parcel! Loving the Blog Hop Party too!
ReplyDeleteLovely fabrics, I am hoping there will be a few parcels waiting for me too when I get back to Riga in a couple of days. Gorgeous projects too glad that I had written my post before I looked at those!
ReplyDeleteKristy I think I am starting to 'pick' your fabric style and these birdies are 'so' you. The ladies from Sew Lux are wonderful at wrapping and giving a nice extra treat. Rare service indeed.
